Dan Andrews

A decade spent learning why people do what they do, and building things that answer for it. These days that's cyber:cyber, my product design lab; a handful of apps of my own; a personal print practice; and jiu-jitsu.

What I do

I trained in psychology before I trained in interfaces, and that's still where I start — what makes people tick, long before what makes a screen work. From there it's brand, UX, and craft: the small decisions that make something worth using twice, backed by the engineering to actually ship it. Lately that stretches to where intelligence fits, and what a parallel print practice keeps teaching me about the rest of the work.

Most of my time now splits between building my own — Granite, Frame, and a third still under wraps — and the small number of client projects I take on through cyber:cyber.

If you're building something ambitious and want it done properly, I’d be happy to talk.
